CG Couture
The quiet fine print behind every made-to-measure commission — clear, and in your favour wherever the law protects you.
Last updated 12 July 2026
Every CG Couture piece is made to order from your own measurements, so a few things work differently from ready-to-wear. This page sets out our terms of sale and how returns and care work. It sits alongside — and never replaces — the rights you have under Spanish and EU consumer law.
Every piece — lingerie, swimwear, corsetry and bespoke — is cut and hand-finished to your measurements or your commission. Nothing is a stock item. Because each piece is made to your specification, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once we begin your piece (Art. 103(c) of Spain’s consumer law, TRLGDCU).
You confirm you understand this at checkout, with a required acknowledgement that is stored with your order. Made-to-measure and bespoke pieces are therefore a final sale for change of mind — but never for a genuine fault (see “Your statutory rights” below).
All prices are shown in euros and include Spanish VAT (IVA) at 21%. Payment is taken in full at checkout, securely through Stripe. For a bespoke commission, the atelier sends you a quote first; once you accept it, you pay in full and we begin.
Your piece enters the atelier once payment and your measurements are both received. From that point, production takes around 3–4 weeks (a bespoke commission may take longer, and we tell you the timeline for yours). Delivery dates are indicative, not guaranteed.
We ship worldwide, insured and signed-for, in CG Couture packaging. A delivery charge applies to every order, whatever its value; it varies by destination country and is shown to you at checkout.
CG Couture is responsible for delivering your piece to your destination. Any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by your country are not included and are your responsibility; they vary by country. Within the EU, prices are VAT-inclusive and no further duties apply. Risk passes to you on delivery.
If you change your mind, contact the atelier as soon as possible. Because a piece can enter the atelier within a few hours, we confirm every cancellation personally — if we haven’t started cutting, we cancel and refund you in full. Once cutting has begun, the piece is uniquely yours and can no longer be cancelled.
Because each piece is cut to your measurements, made-to-measure and bespoke are a final sale for change of mind and cannot be returned or exchanged on that basis.
Please try your piece on within 3 days of delivery and tell us straight away if anything isn’t right. Rather than sending anything back, you open a Fit & Quality request from your account — describe the issue and add photos. Our atelier reviews every request personally, and nothing is returned, remade or refunded until we have looked at it and authorised it.
Intimate pieces (lingerie and swimwear) are assessed by photo first; a physical return is accepted only unworn, with any hygiene seal intact.
If a piece has a construction or pattern-making flaw, or it isn’t what we agreed, you are fully covered. Once we’ve authorised it, you ship it back within the first week and we repair it — or, if it can’t be repaired, we make you a new one. If neither is possible, you receive a refund. There is no charge, and we cover shipping both ways.
If a piece was made exactly to the measurements you provided but the fit is off, we’re sorry that we can’t refund it or alter it free of charge — it was made precisely to those numbers. This is why we always ask you to double-check them, or to measure with the atelier’s help. We will always talk it through with you and advise; a re-measured piece is a new made-to-measure order.
Nothing on this page removes the rights the law gives you. Under Spanish law you have a 3-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery: if a piece is faulty or does not match what was agreed, you are entitled to repair or replacement, and — if those fail or are disproportionate — a price reduction or refund. This guarantee cannot be waived. Our final-sale terms remove only change-of-mind returns; they never remove your remedy for a genuine fault.
These terms are governed by Spanish and EU consumer law (in particular Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, TRLGDCU). If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies, and nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
Open a Fit & Quality request from your account for a fit or quality issue, or email us to cancel an order — a person reviews every message.
